Daikin Industries Ltd. is the Japanese multinational world leader in air conditioning and heating systems for residential, commercial, hotel and industrial applications. Founded in 1924, it is present with its products in 150 countries with over 67,000 employees and 90 production centers, thanks to dedicated investments as well as an acquisition plan aimed at strengthening and diversifying the group.

Daikin Europe NV, founded in 1973 with the aim of overseeing the European market, has gradually expanded its area of expertise to include the entire EMEA area and Russia. Since 2011, part of the products distributed by Daikin Europe has been developed at the EDC (Emea Development Centre) housed within the two production centers located in Belgium and the Czech Republic. Other production units are located in the UK, Italy, Germany and Turkey.

Daikin products have been present in Italy since 1968. In 2002 Daikin Air Conditioning Italy S.p.A was born, which today is the undisputed leader in Italy in the sectors in which it operates. Daikin Italy has a well-established sales and assistance structure and one of its strengths is its proximity to the territory, thanks to its three operating offices. The headquarters of Daikin Italy, where all the management functions of the company are present, is located in Milan.

In 1996 Daikin created a chain of franchised stores, present throughout Italy, with the Daikin Aerotech sign. They are all characterized by an elegant showroom and their organization is able to offer customers the entire range of Daikin products (air conditioning, heating, VRV and hydronic systems) as well as a wide range of services such as, exhibition, consultancy, sale, installation, assistance and 4-year guarantee on all Daikin products and zero-interest financing with Astrofinance.

At the beginning of 2017, Daikin Italy renewed the network of specialized installers – many of whom with exhibitions – who are now recognizable by the name Comfort Store. These are companies dedicated to the sale, installation and maintenance of residential and commercial products. 2 year guarantee on all Daikin products. Products intended for residential air conditioning (mono and multi split) can also be found in the large distribution of household appliances and electronics as well as in some companies specializing in do-it-yourself. The distribution of Daikin products to professional installers is also carried out through wholesalers of plumbing, sanitary and electrical materials present throughout Italy.
